Kettie & Nate // Wedding at The Trailhead in Akron

We’ve been counting down the days and hours and now minutes until we could finally hit the “Publish” button on Kettie & Nate’s blog. We’re super excited about this one and think we have several favorite photos of all time from this day… and we’ve taken a lot of photos over the years so there’s stiff competition for those. Kettie & Nate had such an incredible day at The Trailhead at Cascade Lofts in Downtown Akron. They started the morning in the Lofts and then headed out to the trials for a first-look and portraits. We were thrilled with the extra time they gave us to explore and we absolutely LOVE their portraits. We even stretched our legs a bit and walked to a bridge Kettie wanted to use and it ended up being a new favorite location. You’ll see why soon enough. We had amazing summer sunlight all day and every moment just glowed with warmth and joy. Kettie & Nate were wonderful to work with and super sweet together which is always the icing on the cake. ;o) We really enjoyed this day and we know you’ll love it too…

When your first 5 minutes of portraits look this incredible, you know it’s going to be an amazing day… These are so gorgeous, Kettie! And Nate, you look good in a suit, but you’re no Kettie. ;o) We just keep looking at these over and over. Can’t get enough! Some people might just see a normal bridge. We see light and lines and this… this is what we see. Wow! You guys look so great together. We love these bright, sunny portraits… And that’s how you stand out for the blog… Love the dress prints with the outdoor locations. Such a gorgeous group of ladies… Such a beautiful location at Lock 15 and The Mustill House and Store… And you’re married!!! After the ceremony we did family portraits in this perfect location and we couldn’t stop ourselves from getting just a few more portraits of these two… A few good laughs during the toasts and then it was dancing and party time! Nate showing the crowd how to work it…

And a few of us doing our thing… like standing there to test exposure…

Sometimes it’s worth a few interruptions for an incredible location. ;o)

What is Love? I have met in the streets a very poor young man who was in love. His hat was old, his coat was worn, the water passed through his shoes and the stars through his soul.
