Yes, we can! Did you notice all the genuine smiles and romantic moments in our portfolio? All those people were nervous and felt awkward too, but if you can laugh at yourself and have fun with the one you love, then you'll be just fine. We pride ourselves in creating a comfortable and relaxed mood for our clients so they can feel and act like themselves. We strive for this because when you feel like yourself, then you'll look like yourself too. Don't worry, you'll be great!
Yes, it is! For your sanity as well as our own, we've created a single package with all the basics and a few small additions that we really want you to have. We did this because we know it is overwhelming to sort through multiple packages with slightly different service options and prices. This gives you the freedom to choose exactly which add-ons fit your personal needs. Don't forget- we offer discounts when services are added at the time of booking!
It's difficult to fit our style into a specific box because we do what we need to do in order to get the job done and give you the most amazing and artistic photos as possible. We blend together a documentary style approach throughout the day with fun, candid portraits that are also romantic and classic while being modern and artistic. Yup, all of that rolled into one. But more important than style, is the fact that we care about people and relationships and that's what we strive to photograph. This is why we focus more on you and your loved ones rather than the stuff and details of your day. In the years to come, your relationships and the people you love are what's going to be important to you and what you will treasure.
And to do this, we mainly use available light which means you'll never see a flash on our cameras except for indoor family portraits and receptions that are particularly dark. This creates a certain authenticity to our work that helps you look back and say 'That's exactly what it looked like!'. Whatever weather, whatever lighting is there, we're ready to help you remember the mood, the feeling and the moments.
The more the better! The more time we have, then the more creative freedom we will have to work with which will result in us being able to give you our best work. As the ideal scenario, we always recommend at least 1 hour for bride & groom portraits, a half hour for family portraits, and a half hour for bridal party.
We love both! We understand that you may feel strongly about one or the other and we respect that. There are pros and cons to both options, but there are really only two times when we strongly suggest doing a first look. The first is when you want to significantly reduce the amount of time between the ceremony and reception (so your guests don't have to wait as long for you to join the party). The second is when the ceremony is scheduled for later in the day and when there will not be enough natural light after the ceremony in order for us to get the best portraits possible for you. Of course, the time of year is a big factor since there is less light during the early spring and late fall seasons so this is a question we may want to talk more about when we meet.
Eric and Christy are the epitome of professional perfectionists! Both their attention to detail and creativity are seen and felt in literally, every picture taken, down to how they present the photograph albums. I cannot say there was one "bad" picture. I would and have recommended Eric and Christy to many people!Earline & Ron
They say, "A picture is worth a thousand words," and I say, "Eric and Christy's work is the perfect example of that statement." Eric and Christy were such a joy to work with, ensuring my husband and I felt comfortable and confident in every shot. When planning our wedding, we knew our pictures were going to be an important part of our special day. Eric and Christy photograph the bride, the groom, the kiss, and each special moment in a way that is simply indescribable. They also made us feel comfortable and relaxed in some stressful situations. There is no one better than Eric and Christy!Brittany & John
